Ubisoft has unveiled A Pirate's Fortune, the second story expansion for Star Wars Outlaws, set to launch on May 15, 2025, across all current platforms. This new chapter dives deeper into the galaxy’s underworld, bringing players back alongside Kay Vess and her trusted companion, Nix, as they embark on a thrilling new mission.
The expansion introduces Hondo Ohnaka, the charismatic and notorious leader of the Ohnaka Gang, a character long beloved by Star Wars fans from The Clone Wars, the Darth Maul comics, and even the immersive experience at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Now a key ally, Hondo joins Kay and Nix in their latest escapades, uniting forces to take down Stinger Tash and her ruthless Rokana Raiders.
Players will:
- Explore a mysterious, ancient tomb shrouded in secrets.
- Take on high-stakes smuggling operations for the Miyuki Trade League.
- Engage in dynamic combat and heists across new alien landscapes and hidden enclaves.
A Pirate's Fortune is included with the Season Pass, which grants free access to all future story expansions and bonus content. For those who haven’t purchased the pass, the expansion will be available separately for $14.99.
To unlock the new story, players must complete the main campaign of Star Wars Outlaws first.
The announcement was made during a special panel at Star Wars Celebration in Japan, where Ubisoft also revealed a major new milestone: Star Wars Outlaws will launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4, 2025—just months after the handheld’s global debut on June 5, 2025. This marks a significant moment for the game, as it brings the full Outlaws experience to Nintendo’s latest hybrid console.
With enhanced visuals, performance, and potential new gameplay features tailored for the Switch 2, fans can expect an even more immersive journey through the Outer Rim.
Gear up, smugglers—adventure awaits beyond the stars.
