Burglars Return to The Sims 4

Ten years of peaceful Sims life comes to an end! Burglars are back in The Sims 4, ready to test your security systems.

The Sims 4 developers recently announced a highly anticipated (though perhaps not universally welcomed) update: the return of burglaries.

Just like in previous games, installing a home security system is your first line of defense. Trigger the alarm, and the police will swiftly apprehend the criminal. Skilled Sims can upgrade their alarm system for improved reliability and automatic police alerts. If you're caught off guard without an alarm, you can try calling the police yourself – hoping for a timely response. Alternatively, a more peaceful approach might involve trying to befriend the burglar.

For those with expansion packs, more creative (and potentially more entertaining) solutions exist. Unleash your pets, summon the power of spellcasters, vampires, or werewolves, or even freeze the intruder with a special ray! These options, however, require the relevant expansion packs.

The good news? The burglar update is available now, and it's completely free!
