Square Enix's Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince brings the beloved series to mobile devices. Following its December 2023 Nintendo Switch release, this seventh installment introduces players to Psaro, a young man cursed by his father, the Master of Monsterkind, rendering him incapable of harming monsters. To break this curse, Psaro embarks on a journey to become a Monster Wrangler.
Unveiling the Dark Prince's Story
Psaro, familiar to Dragon Quest IV players as the antagonist, is now the protagonist, offering a new perspective on his narrative. He teams up with a diverse array of monsters to ascend the ranks and ultimately challenge his father.
The game unfolds in Nadiria, a world where dynamic weather and seasonal changes significantly impact gameplay. Players recruit, train, and even combine over 500 unique monsters, ranging from adorable creatures to bizarre behemoths. Weather conditions influence monster appearances, ensuring continuous exploration and discovery.
