Pokémon Go's year-end event, Charged Embers Hatch Day, is set to ignite the game on December 29th! This special event focuses on Elekid and Magby, offering increased hatching rates and boosted Shiny odds.
The event runs from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, providing a three-hour window to maximize your chances of catching these electric-type Pokémon, including their Shiny variants. During this time, Elekid and Magby will appear more frequently in 2km Eggs, with increased Shiny rates. You'll also receive double the Candy for every Egg hatched.
To further enhance your hatching experience, an extended bonus begins on Friday, December 27th, at 10:00 am, lasting until the end of Hatch Day. This bonus halves the distance required to hatch Eggs placed in Incubators. Don't forget to redeem available Pokémon Go codes for extra rewards!
Free Timed Research will be available during the event, awarding a Super Incubator and XP upon completion. For additional rewards, a paid Timed Research option is available for $1, granting a Super Incubator, a Star Piece, and 2,500 XP. As an added bonus, you'll earn double Hatch Stardust throughout the event.
Looking to boost your incubator supply? The Ultra Hatch Box ($19.99) in the Pokémon Go Web Store includes 15 Super Incubators, 10 regular Incubators, and five Poffins. Alternatively, a Hatch Box bundle (925 PokéCoins) offers five Super Incubators, five regular Incubators, and two Lucky Eggs.
