Lilith Games has entered the fray with Palmon: Survival, their unique spin on the monster-collecting and survival genre popularized by Palworld last year. In this game, players can expect to build their bases, gather resources, and strive to survive in a world teeming with creatures known as Palmon. These creatures can be captured and befriended to aid you in your journey. Whether you're looking to capture Palmon and train them for battle, cultivate your land using Palmon skills, or simply craft and survive, Palmon: Survival has you covered.
The name Palmon might seem derivative, but the game itself appears to be a compelling mobile counterpart to Palworld. In contrast to my experience with Miraibo Go, which I found lacking (you can read more about it in my review), Palmon: Survival seems promising, especially given Lilith Games' proficiency in mobile gaming, as demonstrated by titles like AFK Arena and AFK Journey. This suggests that Palmon: Survival could potentially achieve similar success.
Utilizing one-handed controls in portrait mode, players will collect Palmon and harness their skills to cultivate land. Additionally, you can engage in battles with wild Palmon to expand your collection and train them to extend your territory across the land of Pallantis.
Currently in soft launch in select regions, Palmon: Survival is available for testing on the App Store or Google Play. It's free-to-play with in-app purchases, making it accessible for anyone eager to dive into this new adventure.
