RuneScape's newest challenge, the Gate of Elidinis, is now live! This challenging story quest and skilling boss fight tasks players with restoring a long-lost, corrupted statue.
Continuing the fight against Amascut's influence (following the "Ode of the Devourer" quest), players will embark on a new adventure filled with fresh gameplay.
Confronting the Corrupted Gate
The Gate of Elidinis, once a sacred passage, is now a corrupted realm where lost souls suffer. Players, solo or in groups of up to ten, must cleanse the gate. This requires preparation: mining Moonstone and crafting Spiritual Barriers are crucial to combating the corruption. Strong Mining, Crafting, Divination, and Agility skills are essential for success. The shattered statue pieces must be cleansed to push back Amascut's dark power. Check out the official update announcement below!
Rewarding the Valiant
Victory at the Gate of Elidinis yields significant rewards. New skilling and combat equipment awaits, including the Runecrafting Off-Hand "Runic Attunement" and the Divination Off-Hand "Memory Locus." A new Combat Prayer, a fresh God Book, and an adorable boss pet, Edie, are also up for grabs. The new Gate of Elidinis Hunt event offers additional rewards: collect shards and complete tasks to earn cosmetic overrides and temporary buffs with the assistance of the Priestesses of Elidinis.
