Dive into the thrilling world of *R.E.P.O.*, a cooperative horror game where physics-based gameplay challenges you and up to five friends to scour different maps, secure valuables, and execute a successful extraction. To ensure your adventures don't vanish into thin air, it's crucial to understand how to save your progress in *R.E.P.O.*
How To Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.
There's nothing more disheartening than booting up your game, eager to continue your journey, only to find your latest efforts unsaved. This issue is particularly aggravating with newer games. Not all titles feature autosave, and some require you to reach specific checkpoints or locations before safely powering down. It's easy to overlook saving instructions, especially if they're not presented clearly from the start.
In *R.E.P.O.*, remember this golden rule: you must complete the level you're on for the game to autosave. There's no manual save option available. If you exit during a retrieval mission or suffer a fatal mishap (sending you to the Disposal Arena), your progress will be lost, and you'll have to restart the level. Should you die in *R.E.P.O.*, your save file is wiped, and if you leave mid-level, you'll be sent back to the beginning of that stage.
To save your game, finish the level by delivering your collected valuables to the Extraction Point. Then, make your way to the truck, and hold the message button above your head to signal your AI boss, the Taxman, that it's time to proceed to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can take care of any shopping needs before using the same button to advance to the next level.
