Path of Exile 2's Hideout: Your Customizable Sanctuary
In Path of Exile 2, the Hideout serves as your personal base, a haven for preparation and respite between perilous adventures. It's more than just a resting place; it's a fully functional camp, complete with masters and vendors, and entirely customizable to your preferences. This guide details how to unlock and personalize your Hideout.
Unlocking Your Hideout:
Gaining access to this valuable space requires completing several steps:
- Complete Act III twice – once on Normal and once on Hard difficulty.
- Unlock the Atlas of Worlds by defeating Act III's final boss and speaking with Doryani.
- Locate a map with the Hideout symbol on the Atlas of Worlds.
- Eliminate all monsters within that map area.

To access your Hideout, use the waypoint menu and select the Fleur-de-lis symbol, or enter the command /hideout
in the game chat.
Hideout Types:
Initially, you'll only have one Hideout type. Discovering additional Hideouts on the Atlas of Worlds unlocks more options. Ultimately, you can choose from four distinct Hideout styles: Felled, Limestone, Shrine, and Canal. Alva allows you to switch between these styles.
Hideout Customization:
Once you have your Hideout, let your creativity flow! Arrange and decorate freely; place and rotate objects, add and replace items and decorations. You can even import and export designs to share with other players!

Consider both functionality and aesthetics. Strategically place essential NPCs like Doryani (item identification), Ketzuli (disenchanting), and Alva (currency exchange) near the entrance. Don't forget to add Stashes and a Waypoint for efficiency. Remember, other players might visit your Hideout, so make it both practical and visually appealing!
