Pokemon GO: Black and White Kyurem Arrive for GO Tour: Unova
Get ready, Pokémon GO trainers! Black and White Kyurem are finally making their debut in Pokémon GO during the global GO Tour: Unova event, scheduled for March 1st and 2nd.
This highly anticipated legendary duo, previously rumored and briefly appearing in 2023, will be available in raids, offering players a chance to catch both their standard and shiny forms. The event also introduces special in-game backgrounds inspired by the classic Pokémon Black and White games.
The GO Tour: Unova event, focusing on the Unova region, provides the perfect backdrop for Kyurem's arrival. From 10 AM to 6 PM local time on March 1st and 2nd, trainers can participate in raids to encounter these powerful Pokémon.
Fusion Frenzy:
Similar to last year's Necrozma fusion event, trainers can fuse Kyurem with other legendary Pokémon:
- Black Kyurem: Fuse with Zekrom using 1000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy. Learns the attack Freeze Shock.
- White Kyurem: Fuse with Reshiram using 1000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy. Learns the attack Ice Burn.
Fusion is reversible at no cost. The necessary Fusion Energy is obtained by defeating Kyurem in raids.
Event Bonuses:
Beyond the legendary Pokémon, the GO Tour: Unova event offers two special backgrounds themed after Pokémon Black and White. Completing both fusions unlocks a unique third background.
