About the Game:

• This turn-based, classic JRPG is the inaugural title in the Essence series.
• As an adventurer investigating kingdom rumors, you've been imprisoned and must escape the dungeon.

Helpful Hints:

1. The goddess can boost your stats, return you to the dungeon entrance, and save your game.
2. Early game: Equip a Great Sword for area-of-effect attacks.
3. In The Wild, use a special item to avoid snake encounters.
4. If an area proves too challenging, explore lower levels for better equipment.
5. Defeat in battle results in a 50% gold loss.
6. Evasion chance is determined by the Agility difference before combat.
7. All status effects are cleared at the end of each battle.
8. Weapon special attacks bypass enemy Defense.
9. Maximum gold limit: 999G.
10. Bookshelves contain crucial information.

Character Stats:

• Attack: Affects normal and special attacks.
• Defense: Reduces damage from physical attacks.
• Focus: Influences magic attack power.
• Resistance: Reduces damage from energy attacks.
• Agility: Determines evasion rate and turn order.
