Valve's back from the holiday break, and developers are rolling out new patches for various games. Following Deadlock's shift away from bi-weekly updates, we anticipated a substantial patch, but Valve opted for a smaller, gentler start to the year.
This initial 2025 patch focuses solely on Yamato, implementing a minor nerf: reduced damage scaling and a lower attack speed bonus on the first level of Shadow Transformation. Further adjustments include nerfs to Frenzy, Berserker, and Restorative Shot, along with a slight rework of Alchemical Fire.

A more comprehensive patch is highly probable, though its timing remains uncertain. Predicting a release date is currently impossible.
It's noteworthy that Deadlock's player count has recently declined. This might be attributed to the popularity of Marvel Rivals, but considering the game is still in deep beta, a consistent player base of 7,000–19,000 is respectable. Remember, Valve hasn't yet revealed release dates or monetization plans.
