Albion Online's first major update of 2025, dubbed the Rogue Frontier, is all about living on the edge. This update introduces a new faction, innovative trading methods, and fresh weaponry, allowing you to immerse yourself in an underground network of outcasts who thrive by their own rules.

The Smugglers are the ultimate rebels and misfits who've grown tired of the Royal Continent's regulations and have established themselves in the lawless Outlands. They've created hidden hideouts known as Smuggler's Dens, where you can establish a base, store your loot, and engage in various illicit activities.
These dens come equipped with banks, repair stations, and travel planners to keep you on the move. They are part of a Smuggler's Network, a trading system that revolutionizes how goods are moved across the Outlands. You can now transport items without the usual taxes and hassles of the Royal Continent, though you'll have to pay a fee to the Smugglers.
The Smugglers have established a full-fledged Faction, offering missions that allow you to prove your loyalty. You might find yourself tracking down stolen Smuggler Crates from ambushed wagons or rescuing captured Smugglers from the Royal Guards. Completing these tasks earns you Smuggler's Coins, which you can use to climb the ranks within the faction.
