Get ready for a new era in voice assistance with Alexa+, the latest upgrade from the standard Alexa, now powered by generative AI. This enhanced version promises a more natural, conversational flow, making interactions with your device feel more human-like. According to Amazon, "Alexa+ is more conversational, smarter, personalized – and she helps you get things done." This means you can now ask Alexa+ anything that comes to mind, from completing your to-do list to finding specific details in your calendar or even booking a restaurant.

Currently, Alexa+ is in its Early Access phase, available exclusively on a select range of Echo Show devices, including the Echo Show 8, 10, 15, and 21. If you own or plan to purchase one of these devices, you can be among the first to experience this innovative technology. To stay updated on the availability of Early Access, visit the link provided below. After the Early Access period, Alexa+ will become a complimentary benefit for Amazon Prime members or can be subscribed to for $19.99 per month by non-Prime users.

Amazon is continually enhancing Alexa+ with new features, as noted on their Early Access page, ensuring that users will see more capabilities unfold post-launch. However, not all devices will be compatible with Alexa+ right away. Older models such as the Echo Dot 1st Gen, Echo 1st Gen, Echo Plus 1st Gen, Amazon Tap, Echo Show 1st Gen, Echo Show 2nd Gen, and Echo Spot 1st Gen will continue to operate with the original Alexa. Amazon has promised to expand Alexa+ compatibility to more devices soon, including Fire TV, Fire tablets, and Alexa.com, broadening its reach and utility.
