Ubisoft Japan's 30th Anniversary Character Awards Crowns Ezio Auditore!
Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the iconic Assassin's Creed protagonist, has emerged victorious in Ubisoft Japan's recent character popularity contest! This online event, celebrating Ubisoft Japan's three decades of game development, saw fans voting for their top three favorite characters from across Ubisoft's extensive catalog. The voting period, which ran from November 1st, 2024, concluded with Ezio securing the top spot.
To celebrate Ezio's win, Ubisoft Japan has unveiled exclusive celebratory content. This includes a specially-created illustration featuring Ezio in a unique art style, and four downloadable wallpapers for PCs and smartphones. Furthermore, a lucky 30 fans will receive an Ezio acrylic stand set, while 10 exceptionally fortunate winners will take home a massive 180cm Ezio body pillow!
The top ten characters were revealed, with Aiden Pearce (Watch Dogs) and Edward Kenway (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag) taking second and third place respectively. The complete top ten is:

In a related poll, the Assassin's Creed franchise itself was voted the most popular game series, surpassing Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs. The Division and Far Cry followed in fourth and fifth place.
