The developers of Zenless Zone Zero have introduced an exciting new twist target, providing fans with a deeper look into the past of the beloved character, Astra Yao. As a singer and part-time on-air support, Astra Yao continues to captivate the community, and miHoYo (HoYoverse) has not disappointed with their latest focus on her story.
The new animated short dives into Astra Yao's past, showcasing her participation in a benefit concert aimed at commemorating a cavernous disaster. The narrative begins with a brief and somewhat uncomfortable exchange with a journalist, before shifting to explore the dramatic events that shaped her journey.
In the 1.5 update of Zenless Zone Zero, Astra Yao takes the spotlight in the first character banner, while Evelyn Chevalier graces the second banner. The update, now available, brings with it the traditional generosity of miHoYo (HoYoverse), rewarding players with 300 polychromes for bug fixes and another 300 for technical work related to the ZZZ 1.5 update. These rewards are delivered directly to players' in-game mail.
Astra Yao, classified as an Agent (Air, Support) with rank S, is not just a talented singer but also a formidable support agent. Her abilities are designed to restore allies' HP and provide them with multiple damage boosts. When utilized effectively, Astra Yao's skills enable squad members to initiate attack chains and quick assists more frequently, dealing significant damage to enemies.
