Atari and Technos Classics Revived in Super Pocket's New Editions

Author : Simon Jan 01,2025

Evercade's Super Pocket handheld line expands with Atari and Technos editions! These new handhelds will feature classic games from the respective platforms. A limited-edition run of 2600 wood-grain Atari handhelds will also be available soon.

Game preservation remains a contentious issue, but Evercade offers a legitimate alternative to expensive secondhand games or emulation.

Building on the success of its Capcom and Taito editions, Evercade introduces Atari and Technos themed Super Pocket handhelds in October 2024. These devices offer official access to a curated selection of retro titles.

The limited-edition wood-grain Atari Super Pocket (only 2600 units) adds a unique collector's item to the lineup. While some might view this as a marketing tactic, the genuine wood grain (if true) elevates its appeal.

Evercade Super Pocket's compatibility with existing Evercade cartridges provides portable access to a growing retro game library. Users can easily switch between handheld and console play.

The new Super Pocket editions launch in October 2024. In the meantime, check out our lists of the best and most anticipated mobile games of 2024 for some immediate gaming options!
