Regretting your Avowed character build? Don't worry, respeccing is possible! This guide details how to adjust your stats, abilities, and even your companion's build.
Why Respec?
Choosing the right character build at the start can be tricky. Avowed allows you to respec if your initial choices aren't working for you, letting you experiment with different playstyles, like transitioning from a pure mage to a spellsword, or optimizing your build for maximum combat effectiveness.
Respeccing Abilities

To reset your ability points, open the menu, select "Abilities," and locate the "Reset Points" option near the bottom. This costs Copper Skeyt, increasing with game progression (starts at 100). Note that "Godlike" abilities are excluded and obtained through in-game choices.
Respeccing Attributes

If you're happy with your abilities but want to adjust your attributes, navigate to the "Character" section of the menu. At the bottom, below the attribute list, you'll find a button to reset your attribute points for a Copper Skeyt cost (also starting at 100, increasing over time).
Respeccing Companions

To respec your companion, open the menu, go to "Abilities," then the "Companions" tab. Under your companion's name, you'll see a button to reset their points for a Copper Skeyt cost. Remember, you must respec each companion individually.
Mastering respeccing in Avowed ensures you can always fine-tune your character and companion builds for an optimal gaming experience. Avowed is available now.
