Supercell has just unveiled the exciting Lumber Love season in Clash Royale, bringing a fresh wave of content that blends fast-paced combat with strategic innovations. Get ready for the new card, evolution, an array of limited-time events, and the eagerly awaited return of the 2v2 ladder.
Leading the charge this season is the new 2-Elixir troop, Berserker. This unique addition stands out from other low-cost cards like Bats or Goblins by fighting solo. She prioritizes durability over raw damage, making her a resilient choice against spells that typically decimate swarm troops. However, she faces challenges against stronger melee units in direct confrontations, so strategic support is key to maximizing her potential. Curious about her place in the game? Don't miss our Clash Royale tier list for a detailed comparison.
Accompanying the Berserker is the Lumberjack Evolution, marking the second Legendary Evolution in Clash Royale. This evolution introduces a fascinating twist: upon defeat, the Lumberjack transforms into an invisible ghost, but only while under the influence of his Rage effect.
The evolved Lumberjack, or Lumberghost, can unleash devastating attacks on towers with his swift strikes. However, he's not invincible. Spells can reveal him, and he can be easily distracted by other troops or buildings outside his Rage zone.
Throughout February, the Lumber Love season will feature a series of engaging events and challenges. The season kicks off with Super Touchdown from February 3rd-10th, followed by the Power of Love event (February 10th-17th), where troops can switch sides mid-battle, adding a dynamic twist to gameplay.
Runic Rampage (February 17th-24th) will spotlight the Berserker and Rune Giant combo, while the Lumberjack Evolution Draft Challenge (February 24th-March 3rd) offers players a chance to experiment with the new Evolution. Each event comes packed with rewards, including banner decorations and frames.
Additionally, the 2v2 Ladder makes its return from February 10th-24th, providing a thrilling team-based experience. It's worth noting that the 100 Crowns boost has been removed from the Diamond Pass in Pass Royale.
