The latest delay for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was announced via the game's official Twitter (X) account on March 26, setting the new release window for October 2025. Alongside this announcement, a video update was shared, featuring insights from Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann. He revealed, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."
Paradox has been diligently keeping the community informed through Dev Diaries, which have covered characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to concentrate on enhancing the game's quality, all Dev Diaries will be paused moving forward.
First Revealed in 2019
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was first unveiled in March 2019, with an initial release planned for March 2020. The game was originally being crafted by developer Hardsuit Labs. However, the release date was pushed back to an unspecified date in 2020, and subsequently to 2021.
During this time, several key team members departed from the project. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced a significant change in direction, with Hardsuit Labs stepping away and The Chinese Room taking over development. This transition saw the game's release expectations shift from late 2024, to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
