In Ivy Road and Annapurna Interactive's Wanderstop, players manage a charming tea shop in a magical forest as Alta, a weary warrior finding solace in rest and recovery. The shop attracts diverse customers with unique requests, including the unexpected demand for coffee. Here's how to unlock and brew this non-standard beverage.
Which Customers Want Coffee in Wanderstop?
During Wanderstop's fourth cycle, a bird-like customer requests a refined tea. Following this, three identically dressed businessmen—Jerry, Larry, and Terry—arrive, needing coffee for their upcoming presentation. Despite Alta's attempts to redirect them, their unwavering coffee preference keeps them lingering until their caffeine needs are met. Boro, the shop owner, confirms coffee's absence from the forest, seemingly creating an impasse for Alta. However, the arrival of Zenith, an interdimensional being fascinated by the businessmen, changes everything. Zenith, unfamiliar with tea, offers a crucial breakthrough.
How to Unlock Coffee Beans in Wanderstop
By serving Zenith a cup of tea infused with a valuable item (a book, trinket, plant, etc.), a conversation ensues about coffee. Zenith, intrigued by the concept, uses their powers to introduce coffee beans to the forest. Instructions for harvesting and brewing are then added to Alta's Field Guide.
How to Harvest and Brew Coffee in Wanderstop
Coffee beans now grow wild in the clearing, respawning randomly. Harvest them like other ingredients. Store them in your inventory or carry one at a time. Before brewing, clean the beans in the dishwasher. Brewing involves adding water to the tea maker (heating optional), adding a coffee bean to the infuser, and pouring the resulting brew into mugs. Customers may request additional beans or other ingredients.
Satisfying the businessmen's coffee cravings not only pleases them but also delights Zenith and provides a new option for other customers, even the initially hesitant Boro.
Wanderstop is available for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam.
