In "Promise of Vengeance," follow the trio as they strive to break free from the notorious Cocytus Facility, renowned for its massive production of the Iron Mask. Their journey is fraught with both familiar foes and new challenges, drawing them further into the enigma of Lathel's past. The escape is no small feat, as they must tackle the formidable boss, Morpeah. Although this story precedes the events of Story Pack 9, it sheds new light on Lathel’s history and its ties to the broader universe.
Complementing the main storyline, the update introduces the seasonal event, Crimson Destiny. This event delves into Blade’s roots within the Silverstein family of the Rian Republic. As the narrative progresses, a young girl’s destiny takes a sinister twist, setting the stage for an action-packed event.
Crimson Destiny comprises 30 battles, divided into normal and challenge modes. Players will encounter returning adversaries such as the Darkness Devourer, and confront a new boss, the Fiend Hunter Basilisk. These battles offer the perfect opportunity to hone your skills in preparation for future challenges.
