Clash Royale has finally rolled out a major upgrade for the Inferno Dragon after years of anticipation. This legendary fire-breathing unit receives its first Evolution form nearly a decade after launch, complete with enhanced battlefield capabilities. Supercell marked the occasion with a special promotional video featuring Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola.

The Evolutionary upgrade transforms the Inferno Dragon's combat effectiveness. While the original version resets damage output when switching targets, the evolved form maintains its growing power between attacks - delivering significantly more destruction.
Inferno Dragon Evolution Ignites New Season
The "How to Evolve Your Dragon!" season introduces both the Inferno Dragon Evolution and the return of the popular 2v2 League. Players can team up with friends or random partners to climb competitive ranks.
Milestone Events starting from Arena 7 offer tempting rewards including Lumberjack Evolution Shards, Epic Books of Cards, and exclusive cosmetics.
Crown Chase events feature two waves of prizes:
• #1: Custom Battle Banner with framing and an Epic Book of Cards
• #2: Another unique Battle Banner plus 3 Evolution Shards
Special challenges throughout June and early July will showcase the new Evolution cards:
• Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft (June 2-9)
• Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9) with Battle Banner and Emote rewards
• Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) allowing 4 Evolution Cards per deck
• Magical Trio (June 16-23)
• 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30)
