- Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team is renewing its partnership with Nankatsu SC
- The club takes its name from Tsubasa's fictional hometown, with series creator Yoichi Takahashi serving as president
- All-new in-game events will commemorate the partnership renewal
Sometimes reality and fiction converge in surprising ways—this isn't about typical sponsorships or merchandise. With Nankatsu SC, it feels like a fictional character has stepped right into the real world. So it’s no surprise that Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team is renewing its partnership with the club.
What makes Nankatsu SC so unique? Fans of the Captain Tsubasa series will recognize the name immediately—it’s the hometown of the series’ main hero, Tsubasa. And it makes perfect sense, since the original creator, Yoichi Takahashi, also acts as the club’s president.
To mark the occasion, a range of in-game events will celebrate the renewed partnership. This includes the upcoming Nankatsu SC Support Super Dream Festival, running from March 28 through April 11, featuring the original middle school version of Ozora Tsubasa as a playable character, complete with a digital autograph from Takahashi himself.
Football dreamsEven if you’re not planning to get this fresh version of Tsubasa, there’s still plenty to enjoy, like the Nankatsu SC Support: Dream Match, available from March 28 until April 30. Login rewards include 8 Dreamballs, 4,000 Customize Medals, and various cosmetic items as well.
And that’s just the start. If you miss some time-limited events, don’t worry—from March 28 through December, you can exchange Event Medals earned by completing scenarios for in-game Nankatsu SC 2025 Season Uniforms and other exclusive rewards.
