Mastering Character Customization in Monster Hunter Wilds
Character customization is a key feature in Monster Hunter Wilds. This guide details how to modify your hunter's and palico's appearance, outfits, and even your Seikret's look.
Altering Your Hunter and Palico's Appearance
Monster Hunter Wilds offers a detailed character creator. To adjust your appearance after the game begins, access your tent at base camp. Open the Appearance Menu (typically using L1 or R1), select "Change Appearance," and you can then revisit the character creator to modify both your hunter and palico's physical attributes.
Outfit Changes and Layered Armor
Layered Armor customization is available from the start. Navigate to your tent, open the Appearance Menu, and choose "Equipment Appearance." Here, you can equip Layered Armor pieces to customize your hunter's and palico's outfits. Remember, you're limited to the Layered Armor you've unlocked; you can't directly transmog your equipped armor. If you want a different look beyond layered armor, you'll need to craft and equip new armor sets, keeping in mind the impact on stats.
Seikret Customization Options
The Appearance Menu also includes "Seikret Customization." Here, you can adjust your Seikret's skin and feather colors, patterns, decorations, and even eye color.
