Author : Christopher May 02,2025

Get ready for an exciting expansion with the first DLC for *Civilization VII*, titled "Crossroads of the World," which will be released in two parts starting in March. In the first installment, players will lead both Great Britain and Carthage, with the chance to meet Ada Lovelace, a pioneering computer scientist who joins as a new leader. Just three weeks later, the second phase will introduce Simon Bolivar as a leader, alongside the new civilizations of Bulgaria and Nepal.

Following that, the "Right to Rule" DLC is set to launch in the second or third quarter of 2025 (April to September), bringing two more leaders, four new civilizations, and stunning natural wonders to the game.

Firaxis is committed to enhancing *Civilization VII* with a variety of new challenges and events. March will see the addition of in-game events and natural wonders like the Bermuda Triangle and Everest, enriching the gameplay experience even further.

*Civilization VII* will be available on a wide range of platforms including PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Those who own the Deluxe and Founders Edition will get to play five days early starting February 6. On the release day, a zero-day patch will also be available, ensuring the best possible start for all players.

Firaxis Games and publisher 2K have declared that *Sid Meier's Civilization VII*, a turn-based 4X strategy game, has reached the gold standard. This milestone signifies that the core development is complete, promising a release without further delays, unless unexpected issues arise.

The latest entry in this beloved series is scheduled for release on February 11, and it has been confirmed that *Civilization VII* will be fully compatible with the Steam Deck, making it accessible on all modern gaming platforms.
