When it comes to comedy releases, Triband has proven time and again that they're masters of the craft. From the quirky charm of What the Golf? to the innovative fun of What the Car?, this developer never ceases to amaze with their genre-bending creativity. Now, they're setting their sights on competitive 1v1 multiplayer with their latest offering, What the Clash?

At its heart, What the Clash? is a collection of minigames reminiscent of Mario Party. You go head-to-head with a friend in a variety of challenges, from table tennis with a mechanical twist to snowboarding. The game allows you to climb leaderboards and even participate in tournaments. But, knowing Triband, you know there's more to it than just that.

Here's the twist: you play as a hand with a body. The physics-based antics that arise from controlling such a character make these minigames even more challenging and the outcomes hilariously unpredictable. Throw in modifiers that can transform regular Archery into Toasty Archery, and you've got a recipe for chaos and laughter.

ytClash the AppleWhat the Clash? is slated to launch on May 1st, adding another exciting chapter to the What the...? saga. However, if you're an Android or regular iOS user, you might be disappointed to learn that, like Triband's previous titles, What the Clash? will be exclusive to Apple Arcade.

For those considering it, this could be the nudge you need to explore Apple's packed gaming subscription service. But if you're determined to stay independent, don't forget to check out our regular feature, Off the AppStore, where we showcase intriguing and exciting new releases available on alternative platforms.
