Rather than being found in Kuttenberg City itself, this side quest is picked up from Miskowitz in the Kuttenberg Region, located to the west of the city. Prepare to put your blacksmithing skills to the test and dive into “Hush, My Darling” in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*.

Speak with Martha
Martha resides in the house connected to the forge in Miskowitz, situated in the southeast corner of the village. Enter the building and speak with her to see if she requires assistance. She’s looking for someone familiar with blacksmithing. Respond with “I’m a blacksmith! I’d be glad to help,” to begin the side quest “Hush, My Darling.”
If you haven’t completed it yet, you can also inquire with the bailiff about Matthew, who belongs to the Dry Devil’s group. The bailiff stands near Martha, so use that as a guide to locate her as well.
Craft Horseshoes
You may already have the necessary items for this quest on hand. You’ll need two Farmer’s Horseshoes, which you could have crafted earlier while leveling your blacksmithing skill. If not, gather two pieces of Scrap Metal and head to the forge. Craft the horseshoes, then return to Martha to continue.
Find Victoria
Martha explains that the horseshoes must be delivered to Victoria, and you offer to do so, keeping the quest moving forward. Victoria lives in a house slightly south of the forge. However, when you arrive, she’s not home—you’ll find bloodstains inside upon opening the first door to the left.
Inspect the blood when prompted during the “Hush, My Darling” quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Return to Martha afterward and inform her of what you discovered. She suggests visiting Sigismund’s camp to search for Victoria.
Sigismund’s Camp
The camp lies to the south of Opatowitz. If you're still searching for Matthew for the Dry Devil questline, there's a chance you'll encounter him along the way to the camp. Locate the blacksmith at the camp and ask him about Victoria. He recalls that a soldier named Black had taken an interest in her. To find Black, proceed to the infirmary tent, where he currently resides due to illness.
Black requests medicine before offering any help—provide him with a Digestive Potion to cure his food poisoning. If you don’t already have one, craft it and return later. Wait a few hours for the potion to take effect before questioning him again.
Eventually, he admits to saying something hurtful to Victoria and believes she might have fled into the woods to the east. Follow your map marker to find her seated on a stump right at the location indicated.
Victoria is visibly upset, so engage in conversation with her. While your dialogue choices are largely consequence-free, if you convinced Black to look after her, share that promise with Victoria—it brings a glimmer of hope to her situation.
This final exchange concludes the “Hush, My Darling” quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. From here, you’re free to continue with main quests or explore other side content such as “In Vino Veritas.”
