Get ready for the return of *Pokémon GO’s* Fashion Week event! This year’s event brings back beloved costumed Pokémon and introduces a stylish new addition: the debut of costumed Minccino and Cinccino.

Costume Minccino Release in Pokémon GO

The fashionable Minccino and Cinccino, sporting rhinestone glasses and adorable bows, debuted during Fashion Week 2025, running from January 10th to 19th, 2025. Excitingly, Costume Minccino can be found as a Shiny Pokémon! However, Costume Cinccino will not have a Shiny variant.

Beyond the new arrivals, Fashion Week 2025 also brings back costumed Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, and Shinx. And, as always, the multifaceted Furfrou will be appearing in the wild and in Raids.

How to Get Costume Minccino in Pokémon GO

Unfortunately, unlike previous years, obtaining Costume Minccino isn't as straightforward. This time, it's primarily available through Raids and a paid research ticket.

One-Star Raids

During Fashion Week, Costume Minccino will appear in One-Star Raids. These are generally soloable, making it relatively easy to catch one, provided you can locate a suitable Gym. Remember, Costume Shinx and Furfrou will also be in One-Star Raids, so you might need a few attempts to find a Minccino Raid.

Paid Timed Research

The other confirmed method is via a paid Timed Research ticket ($5 USD or equivalent). This ticket offers XP, Stardust, a new avatar pose, and guaranteed encounters with event Pokémon, including Costume Minccino.

Field Research Tasks

While Field Research Tasks will offer encounters with event Pokémon, Niantic hasn’t specified which ones. There's a chance Minccino could appear, but it's not guaranteed, making the paid research ticket the more reliable option for obtaining this costumed Pokémon.

How to Get Costume Cinccino in Pokémon GO

To obtain Costume Cinccino, you'll need to evolve your Costume Minccino. This requires 50 Minccino Candies and a Unova Stone.
