Crime Scene Cleanup with a Twist: Serial Cleaner's Mustachioed Mayhem

Author : Ava Jan 10,2025

Serial Cleaner, the crime-scene cleanup puzzler, is making a comeback! Originally released in 2019, this title is returning, but the extent of its revamp remains uncertain. Will it be a polished re-release or simply a modernized port? Only time will tell.

The game transports players to the gritty, yet cartoonish, 1970s. As Bob Leaner, you'll be tasked with the messy job of cleaning up after mob hits – disposing of bodies, wiping away blood, and erasing all evidence, all while dodging the ever-watchful police.

Our previous review (2019) noted its potential despite some shortcomings. Developer Plug-in Digital is now self-publishing this mobile version, suggesting a chance for improvement.

A Fresh Coat of Paint?

Available for pre-registration now, with a February 11th, 2025 release date, significant changes aren't confirmed. While a polish would be welcome given the mixed reception of the original, substantial updates might be unrealistic given the time elapsed.

The core concept remains compelling, but a simple mobile re-release dampens initial excitement. However, Android users who missed out, or those experiencing compatibility issues on iOS, might see this as a welcome gift.
