In Path of Exile 2, the Currency Exchange system is a vital feature that allows you to convert your lower-tier Currencies into higher-tier ones. This process is essential not only for trading with other players but also for using these Currencies as crafting materials. However, understanding the ever-changing Currency Exchange rates can be quite challenging due to their constant fluctuation based on in-game market dynamics. The most reliable method to stay updated on these rates is by checking them directly within the game.
How to Check Currency Exchange Rates in PoE 2
To access the Currency Exchange, you need to reach Cruel Difficulty and then speak to the gambling vendor in any Act. Once there, you'll find the Currency Exchange menu with two boxes designated for different Currencies.
Start by clicking on the left box and choose the Currency you're interested in or the one you wish to acquire. For instance, if you want to know the current price of a Divine Orb, select Divine Orb from the left item tab.
Next, click on the right item tab to view a list of all the Currencies you have in your Inventory and Stashes. To find out how many Exalted Orbs you need to get a Divine Orb, select Exalted Orb from your available Currencies.
The conversion ratio between your selected Currencies will be displayed between the two item selection boxes. So, to acquire a Divine Orb with Exalted Orbs, you'll need to pay the number of Exalted Orbs shown on the right side of the ratio.
This process works both ways. If you have a Divine Orb and want to convert it into Exalted Orbs, simply select Exalted Orb from the "Want" list and your Divine Orb from the "Have" list.
Keep in mind that the Currency Exchange rates are constantly updated, which means the conversion rates can change dramatically from one hour to the next. It's a good practice to check back regularly during gameplay to catch the best possible rates for powerful Currency items.
If a particular Currency combination isn't available (like exchanging Divine Orbs for Scrolls of Wisdom), no ratio will be shown, and the exchange will not be valid.
