Kabam is set to enhance Marvel Contest of Champions with exciting updates, including the launch of the Dark Phoenix Saga, the introduction of new Champions, and the debut of a new character type called Eidols. This month also features a tribute to the game's powerful female characters, offering players a chance to influence which Champion will be revamped in 2025.
Jean Grey and Bastion are the newest Champions joining The Contest, each bringing unique abilities and a compelling storyline. You can recruit Jean Grey starting March 13th, and Bastion will be available from March 27th. Before their arrival, the Dark Phoenix Saga begins on March 3rd, where Jean Grey and the X-Men will confront dangerous variants in a thrilling new quest.
The lore of Marvel Contest of Champions will further expand with the introduction of more Eidols, advancing the Founders' narrative. Following the debut of Isophyne in December 2024, three more Eidols will be introduced throughout 2025, each with a unique sourcing system. The next Eidol, Lumatrix, will be introduced on March 5th and available until June 4th.
Lumatrix, designed by The Founders, is a master infiltrator skilled in espionage, sabotage, and assassination. Made of ISO-8 crystals, Lumatrix possesses exceptional light manipulation abilities. Though it dazzles with its performance, it's a lethal weapon crafted to eliminate threats while remaining undetected.

March also celebrates the powerful women of The Contest. Kabam has collaborated with seven female developers and content creators, each associated with a different Champion. Players can participate in Solo Objectives and Realm Events to decide which Champion will receive a rework in 2025.
