Death Stranding 2 Release Date Unveiled in Massive Trailer

The big presentation for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach kicked off with an impressive ten-minute trailer, culminating in the announcement of the official release date. Hideo Kojima’s highly anticipated sequel is scheduled to launch on June 26, 2025, and will be available exclusively on the PS5.

In addition to the release date, the developers revealed that pre-orders for the game will begin on Monday, March 17. The standard digital edition is set at $70, while the expanded edition, offering additional content, will be priced at $80. For the ultimate fan experience, a collector's physical edition will be available for $230.

The trailer itself is nothing short of breathtaking. The visuals are stunning, and the atmosphere is elevated by a top-tier soundtrack, featuring a track by Woodkid, chosen by Hideo Kojima himself to enhance the emotional impact.

Throughout the trailer's live chat, thousands of viewers drew comparisons to "Rumbling" from Attack on Titan and Snake from Metal Gear Solid, reflecting the excitement and speculation among fans. The trailer introduced several new characters and teased massive action sequences, leaving viewers eager for more. The intriguing tagline "We Shouldn't Have Connected" adds an element of mystery, setting the stage for the narrative we’ll unravel this summer.
