Author : Nicholas May 04,2025

The Season of Witchcraft in *Diablo 4* introduces a plethora of exciting new content. To truly maximize your experience in this latest season, you'll need to get your hands on a scarce new resource: Fugitive Heads. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to acquire Fugitive Heads in *Diablo 4* Season 7.

What Are Fugitive Heads in Diablo 4 Season 7?

In *Diablo 4* Season 7, players are diving deep into the world of Witchcraft Powers, which offer a variety of unique gameplay enhancements. However, these powers alone aren't enough to dominate the battlefield. Enter Occult Gems, a new resource that boosts your character with 160 Armor and an 8% Resist All. Crafting these gems, though, is no easy feat.

To start crafting Occult Gems, you'll first need to collect a Fugitive Head and deliver it to Gelena at the Tree of Whispers. Once you have one, you'll require additional Fugitive Heads, along with 1,000 Restless Rot and 50,000 Gem Fragments, to craft more. Clearly, understanding how to obtain Fugitive Heads is crucial for success in *Diablo 4* Season 7.

How To Find Fugitive Heads in Diablo 4 Season 7

Headhunt in Diablo 4 as part of an article about how to get Fugitive Heads in Season 7.Blizzard keeps the challenge high, requiring players to complete Whisper bounties in the new Headhunt zones of Season 7 to have a chance at finding Fugitive Heads. Upon completion, there's a slight possibility an Uprooted Cocoon will spawn. But don't celebrate too soon; cracking open the cocoon will summon Headrotten Bosses. It's a gamble, but defeating some of these bosses might reward you with a Fugitive Head.

This method is time-consuming and heavily reliant on luck. Fortunately, there's a way to improve your odds. The Draught of Whispers Elixir, which you can obtain from Exposed Roots, Whispers Cache, and Coven’s Cache, increases the chance of Fugitive Heads spawning by 50%. It also heightens the likelihood of encountering Forgotten Altars.

Another critical factor is the game's difficulty setting. Fugitive Heads have a very low spawn rate on difficulties below Torment. Given their rarity, it's wise for casual players to acclimate to the Torment difficulty before embarking on a Headhunt. Remember, Season 7 runs until April, giving you ample time to adapt and gather plenty of Fugitive Heads.
