This version is set to be exclusive to Android devices, aiming to introduce the game to a new audience while providing a convenient, on-the-go alternative for existing fans.
ZA/UM plans to release the first two chapters of Disco Elysium on mobile for free, with the option to unlock the full game with a one-time payment, ensuring an ad-free experience. The studio emphasizes its commitment to enabling players to make informed purchasing decisions, reflecting their dual role as creators and custodians of the Disco Elysium IP.

Studio head Denis Havel highlighted the strategy to engage the TikTok audience with the mobile version, focusing on delivering quick, captivating snippets of story, art, and audio to create a deeply engaging form of entertainment.
Alongside the announcement, ZA/UM released a debut trailer and several screenshots showcasing new 360-degree scenes designed to immerse players in the world of Revachol. The mobile version also features full voiceover, enhancing the game's immersive and character-rich experience.
The official description states that Disco Elysium on mobile is a re-imagination of the award-winning psychological RPG, optimized for short play sessions to cater to the habits of today's mobile users. This story-rich adventure allows players to dive in anytime, anywhere on their mobile devices.
Narrative Lead Chris Priestman described the mobile version as "what audiobooks wish they were," designed to be enjoyed in short bursts. Disco Elysium is set to launch on mobile via Google Android in the summer of 2025.
It's important to note that while the studio name remains the same, many key contributors to the original Disco Elysium have since left ZA/UM. Numerous former ZA/UM members are now working on spiritual successors to the game.
