In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, after the opening section, you gain the freedom to explore and take on various side quests. One such engaging quest involves finding Vostatek's horse, Pepik, and completing it can reward you handsomely.
Where To Find Vostatek in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Start your journey by accepting the side quest "Lackey," which you can pick up from Zlata at Gamemaster Vostatek's home west of Tachov. Alternatively, you can speak with Vitek to initiate the quest, as Zlata will direct you to him anyway. Vitek is located slightly southeast of the house, as marked by the B on the map. This will set you on a path northward, leading you to a scene where Vostatek is under attack by wolves.

Searching for Pepik in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
After rescuing Vostatek from the wolves, he'll ask you to help him reach his camping site where he left his horse, Pepik. Following his directions is straightforward, but remember to keep an eye on your stamina; if it runs too low, you'll drop Vostatek.
Upon reaching the campsite, Vostatek discovers that Pepik is missing. You'll need to track Pepik by following clues along the path. Each time you approach a clue, you'll receive a prompt to examine it closely. Continue following the trail until you arrive at a poacher's camp.
As Vostatek feared, Pepik has been taken by poachers in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. You'll find Pepik at the back of their camp. Fortunately, the poachers move around, allowing you to engage them in smaller groups rather than all at once. It's easier to take down those who wander to the camp's edge, and most will plead for mercy before you finish them off. You can bypass the two tougher opponents in the camp by quickly mounting Pepik and escaping before they can react. Note that there's no opportunity to rest between finding Vostatek and rescuing Pepik, so your health might be compromised depending on how the wolf fight went.
Return Pepik to Vostatek's camp. When you talk to Vostatek, you can choose to ride back to his home with him, which serves as a fast travel option. Upon arrival, you'll be rewarded with Groschen and a permanent place to stay whenever you need it.
Having successfully reunited Vostatek with Pepik in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, you're now free to pursue other quests or delve into a romance. Additionally, you can use your earned money to purchase more equipment as needed.
*Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.*
