Disney Mirrorverse Closing Soon

Disney Mirrorverse, the mobile game featuring a unique blend of Disney and Pixar characters in a new universe, is shutting down. Developer Kabam announced the End of Service (EOS) date as December 16th, 2024.

The game has already been removed from the Google Play Store, and all in-app purchases are disabled. Players have approximately three months of remaining playtime before the servers are permanently closed.

Have You Played It?

Launched in June 2022, Disney Mirrorverse is an action RPG featuring reimagined Disney and Pixar characters. Kabam advises players to complete the final storyline before the game's closure.

Initial excitement among Disney fans was high, but a lengthy beta period and inconsistent content updates led to player attrition.

The Disney Mirrorverse EOS Announcement

The game ultimately failed to reach its full potential. The demanding shard collection system hindered character progression without significant in-game spending, despite impressive character designs and visuals.

Adding to the disappointment, Kabam released new story content and a playable Cinderella character just a week before the EOS announcement. This abrupt closure surprised many players.

This isn't Kabam's first game shutdown; they previously ended Transformers: Forged to Fight and a Marvel Contest of Champions spin-off unexpectedly.
