Torchlight: Infinite’s eighth season, Sandlord, is now officially live, marking the game's most expansive season to date. This season introduces a host of new features that significantly alter the game's dynamics, allowing players to construct a floating empire in the sky.
What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?
The centerpiece of the season is the Cloud Oasis, a city that you get to manage. Here, you'll be tasked with gathering resources from the Netherrealm and strategically assigning workers to one of five professions to maximize your gains. This mechanic unlocks new trade routes, bonuses, and a slew of seasonal rewards, blending ARPG combat with a strategy simulation experience.
Thea, previously known as a divine channeler, has undergone a dark transformation into the Blasphemer. Instead of bestowing blessings, she now spreads desecration, inflicting Erosion Damage that intensifies over time.
The Deep Space region has been revamped, introducing five new stages brimming with monsters and survival challenges. Additionally, a new item called Probes has been added. Similar to Compasses, Probes occupy their own slot and enhance both the rewards and the difficulty of your adventures.
New Stages Are Here
The endgame content is enriched with new Legendary Stages, which, though rare, offer unique loot setups that can revolutionize your gameplay strategy. Some zones, like the Abyssal Vault, break the mold by containing no enemies at all, just heaps of Mystery Chests ripe for the taking.
In contrast, the Sea of Rites is teeming with goblins that don't attack but, when defeated, could summon a hidden boss. The Supreme Showdown stage introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both you and the bosses to transform enemies into treasure with the right hit.
As Torchlight: Infinite celebrates its second anniversary, you can download the game from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in the thrilling new season.
