Dynabytes' Fantasma, a multiplayer augmented reality (AR) GPS adventure game, recently received a significant update. This update expands the game's accessibility by adding Japanese, Korean, Malay, and Portuguese language support. Further bolstering its global reach, German, Italian, and Spanish language options are slated for release in the coming months.

Fantasma plunges players into a battle against mischievous creatures using their mobile devices. Gameplay involves strategically deploying portable electromagnetic fields (acting as bait) to lure these paranormal entities into AR combat. Players then engage these creatures by aiming and firing virtual projectiles at them via their phone screens. Successfully defeating these foes allows for their capture within special containment bottles.

The game leverages real-world GPS location data; Fantasma encounters are dynamically generated based on the player's physical location. Exploration is encouraged to discover new creatures, although in-game sensors can expand the search radius, attracting entities from further afield. Cooperative gameplay is also supported, allowing players to team up with others for a more collaborative experience.

Fantasma is currently available for free on the App Store and Google Play, with in-app purchases. Its blend of AR combat, location-based gameplay, and cooperative multiplayer offers a unique and engaging mobile gaming experience.
