During Tape 1, Scene 14 ('Phone a Friend'), while in Swann’s bedroom, you're prompted to call Kat, Autumn, or Nora. However, instead of dialing their numbers right away, you have the chance to explore some hidden Easter egg numbers within the game.
Currently, there are about five Easter egg phone numbers discovered in *Lost Records: Bloom & Rage*. To experience what these numbers unlock, you'll need to enter the full number on Swann’s phone.
While these numbers won't unlock any achievements, they enhance the scene with interesting side stories. One number even hints at a significant detail about Kat’s character.
Phone Number | Outcome |
---|---|
Reset button | Press the red Reset button multiple times, and the dial tone will grow increasingly loud. |
Any incorrect number | After five incorrect attempts, Kat’s voice replaces the Operator’s, saying, “The number you are trying to reach is unavailable”. |
911 | Velvet Cove’s local authorities will answer. |
285-555-6714 (The Movie Palace) | You'll hear The Movie Palace’s automated message, which includes their hours and movie return options. The last sentence ominously repeats twice. |
Swann's response to these Easter egg numbers remains consistent, with her saying, “Whoopsie, must have entered the number wrong…”. You won't break this dialogue cycle until you decide to move the story forward by calling one of your friends.
If you missed this opportunity during your initial playthrough, you can revisit it later through the Scene Selection menu and replay Scene 14. Make sure to select Collectible Mode to ensure you don’t lose any story progress while hunting for these hidden gems.
If you accidentally press the wrong digit, use the red Reset button at the bottom of the keypad to start over. Also, keep in mind that calling different friends can enhance your relationship with them.
