Nightfarers should prepare their gear. FromSoftware is rolling out its next wave of enhanced bosses, the Everdark Sovereigns, for Elden Ring Nightreign later this month.
Four new Everdark Sovereigns will join Limveld as part of a "new Everdark cycle" beginning July 31. The bosses receiving upgrades in this round are Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast, and Fissure in the Fog.
Previous updates followed a weekly schedule for releasing enhanced Everdark Sovereigns. While it remains unconfirmed if this pattern will continue or which boss appears first, FromSoftware's teaser image confirms that Libra, specifically the Equilibrious Beast encounter, is ready for battle.

It remains to be seen how this update impacts Libra's Faustian bargain mechanic. Regardless of that deal, these encounters promise to be formidable. Tricephalos is no easy opponent, and the Fissure in the Fog fight already features complex mechanics that frequently surprise newcomers. Upgraded versions of these bosses should offer intriguing challenges.
The Everdark Sovereigns have generally been well-received so far. Although difficulty scales with each enhancement, FromSoftware has effectively remixed the main bosses of Elden Ring Nightreign to keep gameplay fresh.
Elden Ring Nightreign's update rhythm mirrors Monster Hunter, delivering a consistent stream of patches and "enhanced" content that steadily raises the difficulty cap over time. It will be fascinating to observe Bandai Namco and FromSoftware’s long-term roadmap for Nightreign, particularly regarding any future DLC releases.
