Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: New Arrivals and Departures
Microsoft has unveiled its first Xbox Game Pass lineup of 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing some departures. January is shaping up to be a strong month for subscribers.
New Games:
Microsoft announced seven new games joining the service, starting with the immediate addition of Road 96 (available January 7th across all tiers). This title returns to Game Pass after a previous stint. Six more games arrive later in the month:
- Lightyear Frontier (Preview) - January 8th
- My Time at Sandrock - January 8th
- Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders - January 8th
- Rolling Hills - January 8th
- UFC 5 - January 14th (Game Pass Ultimate only)
- Diablo - January 14th (Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass only)
The inclusion of Diablo and UFC 5 confirms earlier leaks, though it's noted that Diablo is exclusive to Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and UFC 5 is limited to Ultimate subscribers. The remaining titles are accessible with a standard subscription.
New Perks:
Alongside the new games, several Game Pass Ultimate perks launched on January 7th, including a weapon charm for Apex Legends and DLC packs for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.
Departing Games:
Six games are leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15th:
- Common'hood
- Escape Academy
- Exoprimal
- Figment
- Insurgency Sandstorm
- Those Who Remain
