Evolving Horror: Upcoming Game Empowers Players to Hunt and Transform

Devolver Digital's impressive Android game library, featuring titles like GRIS, Reigns: Her Majesty, and Downwell, is about to get even better. The acclaimed "reverse-horror" game, Carrion, is making its mobile debut on October 31st.

Initially released on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in July 2020, Carrion offers a unique take on the horror genre. Developed by Phobia Game Studio and published by Devolver Digital, this mobile adaptation promises the same chilling experience.

What Awaits in Carrion Mobile?

Become the nightmare. In Carrion, you control a grotesque, red amorphous creature with a penchant for mayhem. This isn't a survival horror game; you are the horror. Trapped within a high-security Relith Science research facility, you've escaped your containment, evolving and seeking revenge.

Your mission: escape the facility, leaving a trail of panicked scientists, security guards, and anyone else foolish enough to stand in your path. Use your tentacles to hunt, crawl through vents, smash doors, and unleash widespread panic and destruction. As you progress, unlock upgrades to enhance your destructive capabilities and increase your size.

Fans of Metroidvania games will find much to appreciate in Carrion's blend of exploration and character progression. The pixel art style gives the game a surprisingly charming aesthetic, despite the graphic content.

Carrion on mobile offers a free trial. Unlock the full game and its DLC with a single in-app purchase. Pre-register now on the Google Play Store, or download it directly on October 31st.
