Amazon's Fallout TV series gears up for season two! Filming begins this November, expanding on the season one cliffhanger.
Fallout Season 2: Production Commences
The highly anticipated second season of Amazon Prime's Fallout adaptation is set to begin filming next month, as confirmed by returning cast member Leslie Uggams (Betty Pearson) in an interview with Screen Rant. Following the show's successful April premiere, the renewal for a second season was swiftly announced.
While the complete cast hasn't been officially confirmed, Ella Purnell (Lucy MacLean) and Walton Goggins (Cooper "The Ghoul" Howard) are expected to reprise their roles. Uggams hinted at exciting developments for her character, Betty Pearson, a Vault-Tec executive assistant, promising surprises for viewers. "I am with the Vault People, so I didn’t get to see what the Earth people were doing," she revealed. "So when it came on, I was blown away. But Betty’s got some things up her sleeve. Just stay tuned."
A tentative release date of sometime in 2026 is projected, considering filming and post-production timelines. (Note: This is an estimate; no official date has been announced.) For comparison, Fallout season one filmed around July 2022 and premiered in April 2024.
