According to Aaron Moten, the actor who portrays Maximus in the Fallout TV series, the show’s planned endpoint has remained consistent since he joined the project—and it’s set to conclude around Season 5 or Season 6. Speaking at Comic Con Liverpool, Moten revealed that the showrunners outlined both a starting point and a long-term vision for the series from the beginning.
“They gave me the endpoint, and that endpoint hasn’t changed,” Moten said. “It is Season 5, 6 type of endpoint. We’ve always known that we were gonna take our time with the development of the characters.”
This suggests the Fallout series was conceived as a finite story spanning approximately five to six seasons, assuming it continues to be renewed. The show's trajectory will ultimately depend on its ongoing success, but with Season 1 achieving massive popularity and strong anticipation for Season 2, the odds of reaching its intended conclusion are promising.
In fact, production on Season 2 has already wrapped. Walton Goggins, who plays The Ghoul, celebrated the milestone by sharing a post-character transformation photo, while Ella Purnell, who stars as Lucy, also marked the occasion on social media.
