Farming Simulator VR: First Look Revealed

The beloved farming life simulator is about to become even more immersive. Giants Software, the developers behind the series, have officially announced Farming Simulator VR, a virtual reality experience that plunges players into the heart of agricultural life.

Dubbed a "brand new" farming experience, Farming Simulator VR will challenge players to manage the full spectrum of farm tasks independently. From sowing and harvesting crops using heavy machinery to tending to vegetables in greenhouses and maintaining their equipment, players will do it all to ensure the growth and prosperity of their virtual farm.

The announcement has been met with enthusiasm from the series' fanbase. Many see Farming Simulator VR as a potential educational tool, sparking curiosity and leading to questions like, "What happens if you get in the way of a working combine harvester?"

Mark your calendars: Farming Simulator VR is set to launch on February 28, and it will be available exclusively for Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3S, and Quest Pro devices.

What can future virtual farmers look forward to? The developers have promised a comprehensive agricultural experience, including:

  • A full cycle of agricultural work, encompassing planting, harvesting, packing, and selling.
  • The opportunity to grow tomatoes, eggplants, strawberries, and other crops in greenhouses.
  • Access to official machinery from renowned manufacturers such as Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, and John Deere.
  • The ability to repair and maintain machines in a dedicated workshop.
  • An added layer of realism with the option to pressure wash your equipment.
