However, the community's focus quickly shifted from mods to the game's demanding performance requirements. Despite the anticipation for running the game at 4K resolution and 60 fps, benchmarks reveal that even the formidable NVIDIA RTX 4090 struggles to deliver this experience consistently.

John Papadopoulos from DSOGaming reported that achieving a stable 60 fps at native 4K with max settings is challenging for Final Fantasy 16 on PC. This is unexpected, given the RTX 4090's status as one of the most powerful graphics cards available.

There is, however, a silver lining for PC enthusiasts. Utilizing DLSS 3 Frame Generation alongside DLAA can reportedly push frame rates above 80 fps consistently. DLSS 3 leverages NVIDIA's AI technology to generate additional frames, enhancing gameplay smoothness, while DLAA offers improved image quality with minimal performance impact.
