Final Destination: Bloodlines is dominating the global box office, soaring past the $100 million mark on its opening weekend.

A balanced $51 million domestically and $51 million internationally contributed to a remarkable $102 million worldwide debut, marking the strongest opening weekend in the franchise's history. With this powerful start, Bloodlines is on track to become the highest-grossing Final Destination film yet, surpassing the current record held by The Final Destination, which earned $186.1 million in 2009.

Final Destination: Bloodlines also appears to have successfully revived the series after a long hiatus since 2011's Final Destination 5, which grossed $157 million globally.

IGN’s review of Final Destination: Bloodlines scored an 8/10, noting: “Final Destination: Bloodlines elevates the absurdity of Death's design, delivering a horror-comedy that will have you laughing to death.” If you’ve already watched the film, explore our breakdown of the Final Destination: Bloodlines ending.
