Charlie Cox's Daredevil has made a successful transition from Netflix to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sparking speculation about potential comebacks for other members of The Defenders. Iron Fist actor Finn Jones has expressed his readiness to return to the role, stating, "I’m here and I’m ready."

Jones last portrayed Danny Rand in Season 2 of the Iron Fist Netflix series and in The Defenders, where he teamed up with Daredevil/Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter). Despite his enthusiasm, Jones' portrayal of Iron Fist received mixed reviews from fans, leading to uncertainty about whether Marvel would include the character in future MCU projects.

The successful reintroduction of Daredevil into the MCU has reignited hopes for a revival of The Defenders. Recent reports suggest that Marvel is "exploring" the possibility of bringing back the team.

During a recent appearance at the LaConve anime convention in Monterrey, NL, Mexico, Jones addressed the criticism of his Iron Fist portrayal. He acknowledged the mixed reactions but expressed a strong desire to redeem himself in the role. "There is a willingness for the fans to see that happen," Jones told the audience. "There’s a lot of willingness for the fans to see that not happen as well. I’m very aware of the critiques of the character and my role in it. My response to that is like, give me a f\*\*\*ing chance, man. I’m here and I’m ready. I want to prove people wrong. So I would love to see that happen."

Daredevil: Born Again continues the story started on Netflix, which once hosted a smaller-scale Marvel universe with shows like Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage. These shows and the broader Defenders narrative are now officially part of the MCU canon, available on Disney+. Additionally, Jon Bernthal's Punisher, previously exclusive to Netflix, will also appear in Daredevil: Born Again.
