Monitoring your Fortnite spending is crucial to avoid unexpected expenses. This guide shows you how to track your V-Buck purchases and determine your total spending.
How to Check Your Fortnite Spending
There are two primary methods: reviewing your Epic Games Store account and utilizing the Fortnite.gg website. Regularly checking your spending is wise to prevent financial surprises.
Why Track Spending? Even small, frequent purchases can accumulate quickly. Consider the potential for significant unforeseen costs.
Method 1: Epic Games Store Account
All V-Buck purchases, regardless of platform or payment method, are recorded in your Epic Games Store account. Follow these steps:
- Access the Epic Games Store website and log in.
- Click your username (top right).
- Select "Account," then "Transactions."
- On the "Purchase" tab, scroll through your transaction history, clicking "Show More" as needed.
- Identify entries for "5,000 V-Bucks" (or other amounts), noting the associated currency value.
- Manually sum the V-Bucks and currency amounts separately using a calculator to determine your total spending.
Important Considerations: Free Epic Games Store games will appear in your transactions, requiring you to filter them out. V-Buck card redemptions might not display a dollar amount.
Method 2: Fortnite.gg
Fortnite.gg allows you to manually track your cosmetic purchases. Note that this method requires you to input your purchases yourself.
- Visit Fortnite.gg and log in (or create an account).
- Navigate to "My Locker."
- Manually add each outfit and item from your Cosmetics section by clicking on each item and then "+ Locker." You can also search for items.
- Your locker will then display the total V-Buck value of your purchased items.
- Use a V-Buck to dollar converter to estimate your total spending.
Neither method is perfectly automated, but they provide effective ways to track your Fortnite expenditures.
Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
