Free Fire's Winterlands 2024 update brings a frosty chill to the battlegrounds! This major update introduces Koda, a new character with arctic origins and unique abilities, along with exciting new movement mechanics.
Koda, wielding a mystical fox mask, possesses "Aurora Vision," enhancing his enemy detection and mobility. This allows players to spot enemies hidden behind cover (excluding those crouching or prone) and highlight enemy positions during parachuting.
The centerpiece of the winter update is "Frosty Tracks," ice-covered rails that let players dash across the map while shooting, maneuvering, and using throwables. Strategically placed Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF coins, collectible even while gliding. Frosty Tracks will feature in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.
The Winterlands update also includes Aurora Events in both game modes. Battle Royale features aurora-affected Coin Machines, while Clash Squad offers aurora-affected Supply Gadgets. Completing event quests by interacting with these items grants buffs to all teammates.
